If infected files are Microsoft Word file, the file name will be changed to name goccod.scr file, Microsoft Excel file will be renamed gocslx.scr file name.
Currently, the world, just two days, the number of infected machines were up more than 4,000 machines. Netherlands is the country worst affected. Within one night, XdocCrypt has spread to 2,200 machines in this country.

Users should be careful when browsing and avoid opening attachments in emails of unknown origin, download the free software available online through the Internet. To be able to recognize the file extension changes, users need to enable the file name extension (Tools-> Folder Options -> View-> uncheck Hide extensions for known file types), and access updated version of Java, Flash Player and the latest Windows updates.
